Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A hyperactive dragon with a mischievous streak, Lethera is very tactile in nature, often playing immature tricks such as running up behind her cavernmates very fast and leaping onto their back, or rubbing herself against others like a cat. Despite (or perhaps because of) her overly-tactile nature, she was chosen to be the first of the SD8685 brood females to mate.

When angry, she spreads her frills and emits a high-pitched warning trill from deep in her throat, and is capable of spitting a highly vitriolic, venomous and acidic goo which can easily blind even other dragons if it gets in their eyes, and can vigorously char through scale, flesh, and bone if not removed promptly. It may also cause paralysis or numbness if it strikes a vital location.

Lethera loves music heavy on drums and dramatic string symphonies. She will often be found waving tree branches around making as though they were conductor's batons, making noise to herself, despite having absolutely no talent whatsoever.
