Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ririos is kind of a drifter. He never really talks, and is always floating leisurely overhead Dragon Isle. Many residents report feeling intoxicated and doozy around him, but it's never unpleasant.

Ririos just appeared on the isle one day and he's been there since. He doesn't cause trouble, just floats near the clouds, off in his own world. He is welcomed by many of the residents due to his calm and pleasant aura. His presence appears to soothe new hatchlings and anxious residents, and everyone is happy to see him hovering overhead.

Voricia is the only one who he frequently hangs around with, as she is his mate. The Daydream Dragon seems to speak to her and her only, and Voricia is never willing to tell what they talk about.

Ririos is often described as a cloud that rolled in one day and never left. Sometimes he is seen on the outskirts of the island, grooming himself or eating. He merely exists on Dragon Isle now, and nobody really cares to wonder about it too much.
