Neotropical Dragons are a breed that originate in rainforests. They are fun-loving and enjoy lounging on tree branches, eating whatever fruit they find. They are also often found sunning themselves on rocks, using their large wings to soak up the rays. In the summer, males compete for mates by showing off their striped wings and gliding in spirals down the tree trunks. It is said that the larger the wings, the more likely the male will attract a suitable mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Not to be confused with Cafe Au Banana, BananA CaFEA wants nothing to do with Star Doe and her coffee shop empire. He only wants independent diners, the sort of mom-and-pop places that one finds more often in places that are far less touristy than the Madder Jungle. BananA CaFEA espouses the glory of family-run eateries, because in his mind chefs that were trained to be chefs in big culinary schools are somehow inferior, though nobody is quite sure exactly how because his monologues on the topic take so long to get to the point. He thinks that food distribution networks such as Star Doe's are going to undermine the viability of food as stuff one eats. Of course, BananA CaFEA goes to Cafe au Banana's coffee shop for a cup of Star Doe's Coffee House Brew with a double-shot of supernatural banana flavouring all the time. He was awarded the title, "Highly Critical of Hippopotamuses" at a recent committee meeting, getting seventeen votes (second place, locjO, only got fifteen votes).
