Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Gentle breezes rise and fall while the heat of the sun is absorbed by the sand. This type of habitat is oppressive to most, but to Blightning it's paradise. She depends on the desert cactus to live, she gets both food and water through this. Living in such a isolated place has left Blightning curious but also fearful of other dragons. In her life she had only known her parents and one other dragon that she had met on her way to her current home. Whereas she is shy around new dragons and would most likely hide, Blightning has made herself believe that she will approach the newcomer and develop a friendship with them. This however, always escapes her when she sees someone new.
