White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Genis-Sage loves to help out other animals, not just dragons. He does his best with his healing arts, and loves to take care of young hatchlings. He lives with Dawn, a young girl of 16, who had stumbled upon a dragon egg and ran away from home. Since that time, she has befriended and helped countless dragons and hatchlings alike. On her adventures she met a young boy named Lance and his Northern Pgymy Owl named Skye. On one of their travels, Lance came upon Genis-Sage's egg, and immediately started to take care of him. Genis-Sage, Lance and Skye became a wonderful team: a dragon, a human, and an owl.
