Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Although a wyvern, Goldrush prefers not to fly; instead, he will stay on the ground, wandering around on foot, using his wings only as a means of intimidation by kicking up a massive gust of wind in hopes of scaring away intruders.  As a result of staying on the ground, he has taught himself not only to hunt proficiently, but also to defend himself and others adeptly without any use of flying.  This in turn led him to develop his own characteristic style of ramming, or as his master called it, the "Goldrush," his namesake, which involves a rapid rush forward while light is shining on his golden scales in order to blind the target, and finishing the charge with a powerful bite.  He does not add the bite to his charge while in self-defense; he will instead send his target flying with a powerful uppercut with his claws.

By using his characteristic ramming technique, Goldrush has saved many of his master's young dragons countless times, and is proud to be a dragon able to serve his master.
