Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

There are humble dragons, and there are those who like to boast. Then, there's Dedede. Giving a whole new definition to the phrase "ego trip", he thinks of himself as the leader, hands down. It may be a result of being the first male born into a female-dominated family, which fits in well with him under the illusion he's a ladies' man (in reality, most of the girls laugh at his flirting). Or, perhaps A-chana spoiled him too much -- one may wonder why he tended to get bigger shares of meals. No matter what the cause was, Dedede's almost always got an inflated head, using his earth powers to announce his entrance with a minor quake (ticking off his peers to no end). Of course, one can't be confident all the time, and when his ego's popped, he ends up confused, distressed, and sometimes even lonely. Despite his superiority complex, the last thing he wants to do is cross too many lines and hurt someone.
