Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A self proclaimed 'summoner', he can use strong magic to fell prey or foe of any size. He had recently joined the winter guard, a small elite group of alpine born dragons who protect the mountains of Valkemare. This accomplishment was no easy task, because to join he had to toss his cousin Nora Magmatooth off a cliff. He recently found out that the winter guard was actually just using the ice dragons within the group to kill other summoners that weren't ice dragons. For the disgrace that come of realizing that he had killed his own cousin just to join, later he all alone killed over half of the winter guard... including their leader, Barrabus the Gray.
