Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Luna Orb is everything one would expect from a dragon with ties to the moon. A gentle and kind lover of peace, Luna Orb prefers to avoid bloodshed whenever possible. She came to Sol Orb's aid when she found him badly injured and weak from hunger. Even after Sol Orb was strong enough to survive on his own, Luna Orb still wished to remain at his side. The reason for this was that she was also separated from her old Moonstone clan as a hatching in the midst of a violent windstorm, and was therefore able to relate to Sol Orb's sorrow at losing his former dragon clan.
