Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Isogaba is almost always in a hurry, as she is constantly darting from place to place in a never-ending quest to see as much of the ocean as she can. Every day she seeks to explore a new place she has never been to, sometimes riding currents far away from shore and getting lost in exotic seaweed beds and rock reefs. Throughout her adventures, she doesn't remember locations in particular as much as images and split-second moments, but this works out because she never feels bored even when revisiting an area she's already passed through.
