Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Part of the team of Sylvain clan dragons that combats groups of predators, Suiton specializes in water-based magic. Due to his talent for creating illusions, his role in combat is to conceal the rest of the team while they approach an enemy. Introverted and wary of confrontation, Suiton prefers to leave direct battling to the rest of his Black Dragon siblings; he focuses on casting disorienting spells from a distance. Having been abandoned as an egg, he holds a slight grudge towards the members of the team who were born within the clan. In an effort to distinguish himself from them, Suiton secretly trains himself in underwater combat, with the goal of proving one day to his stronger teammates that stealthy, efficient attacks are superior to brute strength.
