Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pebble loves living in the cave. He is a generic green dragon and loves the earth and everything about it. He can create massive earthquakes, but, at his master's request, he does not do so for fear of the eggs and hatchlings being hurt or killed. Pebble was in his egg, afraid no one would take him, because his species tend to be overlooked, when his master came and took him into her loving care. He found many other green dragons that she has taken in and cared for as well as some hatchlings that she was raising. Pebble has made it his goal in life to make sure as many green dragons as possible get the love and care they deserve, even though they are not as desired as their gold or silver cousins. Pebble gets along well with Ariel, a young gold dragon, granddaughter of the elusive Mystra, and has even attempted to court her, although like other gold dragons, Ariel is a hard one to court.
