Limber Gherr, being edible, sought many ways to protect himself from the inevitable vermin looking to nibble a bit. The most effective defense he has devised is to apply a garlic oil and sulfur paste all over himself. The sheer odor keeps vermin—and everyone else—well away from him. He leads a peaceful, solitary life.
