Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ro has decided that there is no such thing as 'good' and 'evil'; that these are simply limits created by a society dedicated to order rather than chaos. When questioned, she offered the following:

"There is no such thing as good and evil, only power and ideals. There is no such thing as a good or bad action, only ones that benefit or detract from that society. If I had power, and chose to use it to further my own plans in a manner that harms the general populous, or creates chaos, it would be generally viewed as negative or evil. If I used this power to benefit society, it would be viewed as a force for good, simply because I was currently using it to benefit the majority." Ro stated coldly.

When pressed further, Ro sighed impatiently and glared at the interviewer. "I am through discussing this. You have your own opinions, and I've no will to waste words when you are so deeply set in believing them."
