Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has bright blue eyes, and is as clumsy as any other hatchling, but it never seems to get injured.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Celesteon the White was born with the mark of the chosen one, "CEL3s"—the mark of the one dragon whose destiny it is to represent all of the dragon clans on human Celesteon's scroll. He was discovered by accident in the abandoned dragon cave as an egg.

Charged with maintaining peace and resolving conflicts between human Celesteon's dragon clans, hatchling Celesteon's word is taken as law, and despite his young appearance, he is highly respected among his scroll-mates (if sometimes begrudgingly) for always being egalitarian in his rulings.

With a spell cast upon him that stops any aging; hatchling Celesteon is blessed eternally with the vigour of youth. Though also being doomed to never have the opportunity to choose a mate, he is happy with the life he leads, and is glad just to serve his friends.

Of Yulebuck and Valentine ancestry, hatchie Celesteon has a naturally cheery disposition and is always optimistic. A pacifist to the core, he believes that only acceptance is acceptable.
