Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Lunar lives next to a hidden stream deep in the mountains. His calm nature is shown when he's lounging calmly by the water. He plays with the water when the stars are shining on its surface by touching it with his snout to make ripples appear and distort the image. He stays hidden and watches over people who come up his mountain and guide travelers to safety when lost.
