And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Eternally Young wanders the wild like a ghoul, seeking revenge on the Magi who cursed her. She will never be at peace until she finds out why she was denied the chance to find a mate, have a family, or even grow old. She has no friends; any dragon that approaches her, even in an attempt to befriend or console her, is turned away with a dangerous growl. Leaving no footprints, she traverses even the staunchest wilderness as easily as a mountain goat. She is, for all intents and purposes, a ghost of the hatchling she once was.
