Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Xiolon is the first of three brothers of the tinsel trio. He has a very colorful personality even though he is only silver. For example, he likes to study the ancient past way before there was even any dragons around. He also likes to take up a job with great knowledge and smarts. Xiolon is also very interested in the color purple for some strange reason. Everything in his possession is the color purple, like the gems he studies with other purple rocks like amethyst.
