Kirrow is a wizard's familiar. That the wizard in question is a script dragon probably explains a lot. Aznyf claims that she is an oracular chicken—that the marks she makes with inky feet on paper (literal chicken scratch) foretell the future—but all that can be said is that she's no less accurate than most human methods of divination. He also claims to be able to understand her clucking, which may just be an example of script dragon whimsy. Kirrow, in addition to being a good source of eggs, also makes an excellent guard chicken.
