Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.
Shadow-Scratch got his name because he has a strange habit of sneaking up on dragons by hiding in shadows of trees and rocks, then scratching them with his tiny claws. It doesn't hurt much, though. He sometimes teams up with a sneaky Spitfire named Black Cherry Bomb, or Cherry for short, and steals things from wild dragons. They both sneak into the den. Then Shadow-Scratch scratches the wild dragon to distract it while Cherry runs off with the dragon's items. Shadow-Scratch then flies away. They have called their routine "Scratch and Snatch", or SaS for short.
