White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Whineb is a linguist. Although he is unable to form actual words himself, he has discovered fundamental differences in the thinking patterns of different species and even among members of the human race if they speak different tongues.

This fascinates him to no end, and he spends all his waking time studying these different patterns, trying to discern an underlying "universal language". He hasn't really succeeded in his ultimate goal, but his help is often requested when the clan has to deal with dragons from far away or other species. And every new little tidbit he manages to pick up brings him closer to his dream.
