Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Although he is a strong-willed, powerful dragon, Iathag has one great weakness: love. Iathag once belonged to a band of dragons composed entirely of vines. However, one day Iathag was hunting when he met a young purple dragon named Sasuca who was lost in the woods. They spent the remainder of the day trying to find Sasuca's friends before the two realized that they were in love. Iathag brought Sasuca back to his herd to stay with them, but the rest of Iathag's band shunned their love and, seeing it as a disgrace to their kind, exiled Iathag permanently from their valley.

Together Iathag and Sasuca trekked across the hills and mountains until settling in a small valley. There they proceeded to gather around them an odd menagerie of different breeds of dragons. Their herd now numbers in the hundreds, but the philosophy of the herd is still the same as it was on the day it was created: "Accept all but those who refuse to accept."
