Nhiostrife Wyverns are one of the few known breeds of wyvern with more than one set of wings. Because of their four wings, Nhiostrifes are very nimble in the air and control their movements with ease. When it’s mating season, males put on a very beautiful and unique air dance in an attempt to charm a female. The amount of stripes on their wings vary, with more stripes being more attractive, although most have only two to four. Their general attitude is very passive and curious—they only fight if they or their families are in danger.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

In all her mother's life, there was never a dragon who struggled with flight as Liviid did. Liviid was named for her strange temperament, of kindness and bravery, and of course, her vivid stripes.

Throughout her childhood, Liviid crashed into many things: trees, dragons, cliff sides, and even the clouds of Daydream dragons were not spared from her clumsiness. Even when she was on the ground, those around her were careful in case they were required to come to her aid or flee before they took any collateral damage.

As the clan's first Nhiostrife dragon, some dragons remained skeptical when the human caretaker assured the clan that she would soon fly properly. Then, a dragon who had lived the majority of their life without a clan professed that he had also seen a few hatchlings of her kind born with an inability to fly that they had to grow out of.

That skepticism vanished when her secondary wings grew in and she became one with the sky, only to be graceless once more back on earth.
