Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Corlek is a rather atypical vampire dragon.  He hunts for food, not sport (and restricts himself to prey that can't answer back), he has no minions or followers (claiming he's too lazy to bother with such), and hasn't bitten an egg since his first unsuccessful try (he feels there are enough eager vampires out there to keep the breed flourishing, and besides, he can't stand the taste of egg).  He'd be the ideal vampire neighbor, except that he's earned the nickname "Corlek the Slightly Evil" for a reason.  He loves to play upon the traditional expectations for vampire dragons, responding to suspicion or fear by lunging at the unfortunate dragon with fangs bared.  He never harms any of his dragon victims, but gets pleasure out of seeing them flinch or cringe away in fear.  If someone does stand up to Corlek, though, he'll immediately back down, reverting to his usual charming self—he's only slightly evil, after all.
