Perhaps among the most venerated of dragon breeds is the Zyumorph, a breed whose selfless heroism and strong moral compass are nearly unparalleled by other dragons. Zyumorphs have an innate urge to fend off wrongdoing, and as such, are often sought after in times of peril. Although they are independently quite capable fighters, it is said that their true might is not unlocked until all six Zyumorphs are brought together in times of great duress.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Go go Zyurangers! Go go Zyurangers! Go go Zyurangers! You biome-morphing Zyurangers! It is impossible not to roar this chant whenever the Zyurangers appear. This family of dragon superheroes travels the world in order to stop wrongdoing and injustice. And, they are very enthusiastic about it. Tommy has a bit of a rivalry with her sister, Jason. The two of them can be defined as excellent leaders, but neither can decide who should definitively lead the Zyurangers. This results in the two of them getting into constant scuffles and arguements that usually lead to full-on brawls. This is especially so because of Tommy's red hot temper. Though she can generally keep her cool and act professional, it doesn't take much to get her steaming mad and ready to fight. Jason, of course, knows exactly which buttons to press in order to make her rage, so the fights are as intense as they are frequent. Despite their fighting though, the two are always able to put aside their qualms and fight together.
