It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Noodle Kaboodle's name was given to her as a nickname by her friends. They often teased her for her yellow whisker thingies and so they called her Noodle. She grew into liking the name and decided to keep it. She has raised 'Chicken Ramen' (that one can be found on the scroll labeled "CaramelCremme") after Chicken Ramen was abandoned and she calls it her 'child' even though they are not related. Noodle now watches over the hatchlings and eggs. She has rescued many eggs from the famed "Abandoned Pile", believing that every dragon has a purpose no matter what breed. She has also started the Guild of Noodles, where she brings together Purple dragons and goes on quests to rescue abandoned eggs. Many of her rescued eggs have been neglected for their colors, such as Desert Ruby, who was the first red Striped Dragon to ruin a line of pure whites, and dragons who failed to be born as hybrids such as Skylar. Noodle is loved by all other purples and you can always count on her to rescue eggs.
