Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Geologica Geodesica is the clan's first geode dragon. Beautiful but fairly slow moving, she is nonetheless a deadly force to be reconed with. Deadly that is, if her enemies are dimwitted enough to get too close to her. If she gets an opportunity she will endeavor to use her mass to her advantage and sit on them. Given her mass, that can be a fatal propsition for dragons that are smaller or less massive then she. That's why she is considered a deadly force to be reckoned with. This can however be a disadvantage in an enclosed space like a cave, so her clan is forever having to remind her to watch where she sits so she wont squash the hatchlings.
