Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It hides in dark spaces and lunges at anything that gets too close. Small piles of bones are accumulating outside of its “lairs”...

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

StormEy was named as such because of the great delay. She was due to be laid on Halloween, but thanks to a magical block placed on her kind so more of them could be saved, she ended up being laid three days late. Though some did not like to wait the extra time, this delay helped those who could not get to the cave because of the great storm. Because of this, more of her kind were saved, including little StormEy.
