Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Within his huge brood, Aqueduct is the bombastic warrior. He's loud and obnoxious, often getting involved in fights with others (sometimes his own siblings.) He is definitely the most physically powerful Blackwing, but also by far the dumbest. He is easily manipulated by his more crafty sisters and believes pretty much anything he's told without trouble. He is a brute, practically disowned by his mother after causing so much trouble. But, then again, with how much she neglects all her other children, it might be safe to say he dodged a bullet when she through him out. Though petty and rather violent, Aqueduct is a hard and efficient worker. He is also a very tough opponent in battle. One would not assume such a slender dragon would possess so much muscle, but he really does. He has trained his body to be solid and sturdy, able to withstand some decently powerful physical and magical attacks. Obviously, he is not invincible, but it is surprising how well he can do against magic users.
