White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Feathers Drifting in the Air is one of Phoenix's dragons. Typical of white dragons, she serves as the medic among the clan, and her healing powers are extensive, as she is native to the wild.

Feathers is fairly young among Phoenix's dragons, and for many years she had difficulty gaining respect among them. She had particular trouble with I Sense in the Wind, a black dragon and the ex-mate of the medic before Feathers. Wind considered Feathers inadequate and something of an imposter, unable to hold a candle to her predecessor -- though he may have been a bit biased, the elder's disapproval shattered Feathers, and to this day she strives to exceed his expectations and earn his approval.

Feathers has had three mates: Stretching Clouds, Crest Outmatching Quaoar, and Skull on a Pike. Clouds is her mate and true beloved (so she says), but she has maintained an affair with Quaoar, flattered by the gold dragon's attraction to her. Her relationship with Skull is another story altogether.
