Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bev is a gentle, majestic dragon, with a heart of pure gold. She is wonderfully kind to all those she meets, even when her immense size tends to scare others off. She is close with her mate, Zack, who is a member of the Zyuranger family. This group of siblings is known to travel all over the world in order to thwart evil, so Bev is often left in the background to fend for herself. Not that that is much of an issue. Despite her peaceful nature, Bev is more than capable of fighting off any threat that approaches her. She has taken lessons from Zack, so tends to mimic his more defensive style of combat. Using her great bulk, she can typically take out about any opponent, though she is quick to grant mercy. Bev only fights to protect herself and those closest to her. In times of true duress, when even Zack isn't enough to protect the Zyurangers, Bev will sprint to his side and lend him her aid. Though capable fighters alone, they are truly a remarkably strong team together.
