Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

BieK is an interesting specimen of electric dragon. Her black scales have an odd quality to them: they absorb heat or cold with the weather, and shine brightly when clean, much brighter than the average dragons scales ought to. She moves at incredible speeds along the ground, but cannot fly in the air; when she is seen running from place to place, spectators claim to have seen an unusually shaped wagon, very thin and wiry, with thin black wheels, and oddly shaped log-like objects protruding from the front of it. She seems to be able to run faster still when her body crackles with electricity, and her eyes have a tendency to glow bright yellow. No one knows why peasants seem to be in such awe of this female electric dragon, but BieK will probably inspire something big in transport production in the future.
