Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows with some form of arcane energy.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Evann (a Celtic name, which means young warrior) is a young dragon whose background is as mysterious as that of his attendant Allvar. The only other dragon who's ever been near him is Jezebelle, who's rumored to be his mother.

Evann feels very lonely since he's hardly ever allowed to play with the other hatchlings. Allvar says it's too dangerous and so Evann has no other choice but to sit and watch the other dragons from a distance.
