Starsinger Dragons are warm-hearted creatures who make their appearance at the start of winter. During the day, these dragons bask in the sun to absorb light into the crystals at their chest and between their horns. They will then perch high on tree tops or ledges at nightfall, where the shine of their crystals serve as a beacon for any weary travelers who have lost their way. However, these dragons are most well-known for the melodic songs they sing through the night, which can echo out for miles around in harmony with other Starsingers. These songs are often immortalized as festive carols and never fail to instill a sense of cheer and camaraderie during the holiday season.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

One of the two nicest carolers in the Jingle Lads, Lit is flighty, fabulous, and free. She loves nothing more than to fly through a cold, winter sky, letting her crystals shine and singing her heart out. She especially loves doing this with her best friend, Son the Wintertide, who is also a fantastic singer. Lit is known to be a more enthusiastic lad, trying to make their grisly job fun despite the true darkness of it. After their town was nearly annihilated by a beastly dragon from the mountains and their previous leader, Aeg, was presumed dead, the Jingle Lads have done the duty of gathering naughty dragons and sacrificing them for the continued safety of their home. In attempt to hide her unbridled fear and anxiety, Lit indulges fully in the system, singing loud for all to hear and doing everything with a smile, no matter how twisted. If it weren't for Son comforting her, she probably wouldn't be able to last. He's the one who helps her through all the horrors she's seen and caused.
