Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Arula asked Tractor to haul a nice big Christmas tree back to the cave one year, and all the artistically inclined dragons collaborated to decorate it.  After quite a bit of squabbling and rearranging, they settled on the perfect design.  On Christmas morning, everyone was surprised to find a bright red egg nestled in its branches. When the hatchling emerged, she snipped a jingle bell from the tree and curled it up in her holly-tipped tail, and so Arula named her Jinglebella.  Her shiny red scales and generous, joyful temperament made her a favorite with the other dragons, and as she grew they fashioned her garlands of bells for her wings and ankles.  Now that she's fully grown, all the hatchlings of the cave squeal to hear an approaching jingle. They know it's Jinglebella, and they know she'll have presents for all of them.
