Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Heaven's Angel Wings was found as an egg lying beside a well-worn human path.  It was assumed that this egg was stolen, and had somehow been lost before the humans had reached one of their gathering places. Red Dreamer thought these places were called "village fairs".

But no matter, the egg was saved and brought to the cave where the unattached females cared for her and made sure she hatched and grew into a healthy dragon. Dimar's clan were especially excited.  Not only is she a skywing, but absolutely unrelated to any of the caves clan!  Heaven was raised by the entire cave, so she grew up with a very diversified way of looking at things.  The only thing about her that is 100 percent skywing is her love of flying.  Having been raised, and loved by all, Heaven's Angel Wings also loves everyone.  She has a deep respect for every member of the cave.
