Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bochepus is a Whiptail elder and a complete loner when it comes to living. He lives in an arid part of the Starus Plains where very few dragons roam. He hunts by himself, he hoards by himself, and he thrives by himself. Despite his small size for a Whiptail, he manages to hold his own when fighting other large and violent dragons who wander into his territory.

Because of his loner personality, he has decided to never take a permanent mate. He has experienced a few romances with wandering females, but he has never produced any offspring nor has he found a female with whom he has fallen deeply in love. Because of his proficient and impressive survival skills and speed as a hunter, he was voted an elder of EG's Cave.
