Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Kuldarte is one of the dragons in charge of advertising for Roaring Lion Productions. It was that or be treasurer, and the only qualification she had for the latter job was that her scales were the color of gold. Kuldarte isn't quite as effective as a skywing would be, as she's not really cut out for long-distance travel, but her bright gold scales make her hard to miss. When she's caught someone's attention, she'll try to find out what interests them, and then hand them a flyer for a related play. Kuldarte has become quite creative with finding connections, though she did give the person who snapped "Nothing!" at her a flyer for Future Era Productions latest effects-stuffed (and plot-light) extravaganza.
