Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Amelie Tempest is sensitive, modest, chivalrous and feminine. Amelie is very intuitive and really trusts her instincts. Amelie is so intuitive that she unknowingly knows what is going to happen. It almost looks like she could predict the future. This ability to intuitively understand people and situations puts Amelie at a distinct advantage in her life. She generally understand things quickly and with great depth. She is also quite flexible and adapts well to a wide range of tasks. Amelie is good at almost anything that interests her. As Amelie grows and further develops her intuitive abilities and insights, she becomes very aware of possibilities, and this makes her quite resourceful when solving problems. Amelie is however not very smart, she is average when it comes to intelligence. Amelie can be a bit frustrated because she can't fully explain herself why some things happen when she is right. She can also be on bad days very grumpy and emotional.
