When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. When he saw her in his pond, her scales gleaming in the sun and her tail swishing lazyily, he fell instantly in love with her at first sight. She is truly beautiful, if a bit imperious and vain. She is loving and gentle, even if she expects to be pampered. Ignore her orders at your own peril, for though she is kind, she is not as patient as her mate, and you may end up being nipped to remind you who is in charge.
