Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Dwee is a dragon that has taken on the consequences of sheer clumsiness. When she had just been learning to fly as a hatchling, she had set a simple goal for herself: fly through a small space in the wooden fencing surrounding her owner's cave. Unfortunately, the space was much too small, and she was very soon trapped there, her body too big to go through and her horns preventing her from pulling her head free. She never did manage to break free, and now her entire life is spent on the fence, looking out at the world. Other dragons bring her her meals each day.

Her name comes from the sorrowful roars she makes, wishing silently that she could be free to play with the other dragons. She makes a loud, grumbling "Dweeeeee!" sound. She makes a hissing "Dwee!" whenever she sees winged hatchlings playing near the fence, as she doesn't want to see any other dragons suffer the same ridiculous fate she has.
