Ultraviolet Dragons are a heat-loving breed that are most commonly found in hot, arid environments. These hardy dragons are omnivorous and will eat both plant and animal matter, even species with thorny physical defenses such as cacti. They are generally peaceful and often quite friendly, but males will become aggressive and cantankerous during the breeding season. Intense fights take place over females, sometimes resulting in injury for both combatants.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Areole earned his name from his favorite food, cactus. However, this dietary preference led to an unfortunate accident during his days as a hatchling. Once, while Areole was munching on a baby cactus, the spines pierced his nasal membranes, which became seriously infected. Ever since then, Areole had completely lost his sense of smell. Out of embarrassment, Areole has never told anyone about this. Not even his closest friend, Toxic Jab. Although, in this case, Areole feels that it would not be beneficial for Toxic Jab to know that he cannot smell his friend's distinctive odor, hoping that if Toxic Jab goes on believing that if he can have one friend in spite of the foul smell, then it might encourage Toxic Jab to cut back on the bad attitude and let other dragons in, too.
