Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Katharos Fos means Pure Light in a foreign language. Not much is known about her, but she mostly stays with Jamen and admires the Cloud and Balloon dragons. She is, however, very rude to any other female dragons that look more pretty then her. She won't actually attack them, but she will argue at them and be jealous until that dragon somehow looks less pretty in Fos' eyes. Katharos is also mostly quiet, but prefers to show off her reflecting scales to any passing dragon, hoping they will get jealous of her beauty.
