Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Nimhneach's name means 'Vicious' in a foreign tongue. There is no mystery as to why he was given such a name. Nimhneach attacks any dragon who dares to edge too close to him. Fortunately for the other dragons of the Land of HeroHorse, he rarely ventures far from his territory. Nimhneach has made a home for himself in "The Asti Desert" and has claimed an area in the wasteland for himself. He defends his territory with the ferocity of an enraged weasel.
Nimhneach has behaved viciously ever since he hatched. Several hatchling-minding dragons have earned scars from Nimhneach's youthful bouts of violence. In addition to the influence of his breed over his personality, Nimhneach behaves viciously out of fear. He fears allowing other dragons to get too close to him, to allow himself to care for them. This could be a result of Nimhneach's abandonment as an egg or his natural view on life. Nimhneach continues to violently push others away, fearing the betrayal of any trust that he puts in them.
