White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bitterschnee was born in Winter. His mother wasn't very fond of him and left him to fend for himself at a very young age. While he quickly became self-sufficient, he was very lonely, so he tried to find a place within a dragon community and was eventually adopted into Laura-Lana's clan.

He decided to become a healer for the Caligene Dragons in the clan, because the other dragons seemed to avoid them and he felt sympathy for them. He quickly discovered that the Caligene Dragons rarely need a healer. On the other hand the dragons spending time with the Caligene Dragons need his help a lot.

While the Caligenes remain a symbol for death in the clan, Bitterschnee has become a symbol for life.
