Electric Dragons wield electricity with great prowess. Bright sparks race across these dragons’ bodies in a dazzling dance of light, complemented by the blindingly radiant sparks on their tails. Using their bellies and manes as stores for this electrical energy, Electric Dragons wield crackling magic, stunning and electrocuting their prey with a whip of their tail. During mating season it is typically those with the most brilliant sparks—an indicator of strength and hunting ability—that are drawn to each other.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Electra was chapus's first dragon. She is very kind and is the elder of her owner's other dragons, so she gives tips on hunting and living. Her mate is WaterWalker. She has three children, who are all fully grown. Electra is a calm, gentle dragon, but if she gets mad it's best not to mess with her. When her second child was found dead as an egg, Electra was crying all day. She was screaming, saying it was her mate's fault it died, but in the end, other dragons said it did not die because of WaterWalker. To this day, she is quite respected by other dragons since she is one of the oldest and wisest. Although she still quietly mourns her lost child, she has moved on and says that this event made her stronger. She stills gives tips and advice to younger dragons that usually seek her aid, and she is always glad to help.
