Blusang Lindwyrms are quite different from most dragons in that they lack hind legs. In this regard, they resemble snakes, and this is evident in their movement; these lindwyrms slither along the ground, using their forelegs to lift them over rougher terrain. Blusangs are a coastal breed, preferring to live along rocky beaches and in seaside caves rather than sandy locations. They are omnivores who graze on seaweed from time to time, although their primary form of sustenance is fish.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tyrain Sceleris Lindwurm is a blusang lindwurm dragon. He is quite handsome and good-looking to most everyone, though, of course, there are some dragons that can never be pleased or impressed. Being very, very fast, nimble, and energetic, he was promoted to be one of his clan's snatchers, whose job is to take rare eggs from the Abandoned Pile before anyone else can grab them. However, Tyrain Sceleris Lindwurm also wished to be a protector (who guard and protect the snatchers from hostile, greedy thieves), since he enjoys fighting and competitions. He was granted that request, and so he became his clan's first protector and snatcher. Still, Tyrain doesn't spend his whole life chasing after eggs, and he does enjoy, among other things, racing, fishing, socializing with his friends, and joking around.
