Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Sansa is an odd dragon, even by Recila's standards. She hangs out in the woods, near the entrance to an old, otherwise inaccessible grove and waits. For a long while, no one was entirely certain what she was waiting for, but the interviewer, curious Dark Myst that he is, decided to find out and watched her for a week.

During this week, he saw something odd. A wild hatchling stumbled its way over to Sansa, eyes wide and curious and innocent. The Nocturne dragon smiled calmly at the hatchling and gestured to the grove entrance with a practiced kind of grandeur.

"Welcome, young one." She stated, smiling that enigmatic smile. "Step step through the gate and see for yourself the wonderful wonders of the world of Nadine."

The hatchling peered into the arch, and, with an expression of rapture, entered.

After another long week of waiting, the interviewer never saw that hatchling leave nor any of the others that soon followed it.
