Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bima's name was the result of an inside joke his caretaker shared with her friends. He isn't sure about the details, but what he got out of them was that the name was based on his personal ID number and some weird human show. Even though Bima personally thinks that's the stupidest idea for a name ever, his undying loyalty to his caretaker made him go along with the plan. Well, that and the fear of being released into the wild and remain unnamed forever. I Am Bima has decided that he rather put up with the humans' antics, even if they involve naming conditions like having long, boring internal monologues every time he goes hunting, and having to proclaim "I Am Bima!" every time he makes the kill.
