Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Yellowstone Super Volcano is a volatile, unpredictable dragon. His greatest dream is to cause a super volcano to erupt and survive, so as to garner bragging rights. (That is if there is anyone to talk to afterwards...) His father, Phoenix Flame of Volcanic Fury, stuffed him in a relatively small dormant volcano, away from all other dragons (except other Magma dragins), so as to prevent Yellowstone Super Volcano from causing unnecessary volcanic havoc.
